Vermont has a wealth of organic and sustainable foods that we at Vermont Appetit proudly utilize. We use Vermont staples such as King Arthur Flour, Kingdom Creamery dairy, and Cabot Creamery butter in our goods. These companies are world renown, but here in Vermont, they are our locally resourced neighbors. For every product containing dark and white chocolate, only the finest couverture Callebaut and Guittard chocolate is used. Callebaut chocolate is manufactured right here in Vermont.
The difference in small batch made food is the wholesomeness it provides. Using freshly grated Vermont grown garlic, hot peppers, and ginger provides you all the health benefits that is lacking in todays packaged commercial fare. As stated, we proudly source our dairy and honey from local Vermont farms, and source fresh fruit straight from a small orchard in California. All the maple syrup we use comes right from our own maple tree orchard in frigid Northeast Vermont.
